ICOFX – The best Free ICON EDITOR for Windows – v1.6 is here

A new version ICOFX 1.6 is out here and it has the full feature support for vista icons & import facility for Macintosh icon resources.

Now it has a built in resource editor which allows you the create a ICON library. You may also edit icons inside exe files(Note: please always backup the original exe in case you damage the executable). What is so exciting is, we can create ICON LIBRARY in professional icon development tool like ICONWORKSHOP, but however even iconworkshop does not store compressed VISTA style icons inside library and hence 256px ICON LIBRARIES made from iconworkshop are of too huge in size. Now with ICO-FX it is now easily possible.

A new look, with additional features and No-Cost makes this not only a wonderful tool but also competes with the commercial softwares. GREAT WORK AND I APPRECIATE the developer for his hard work.
